Director Nancy Honeycutt

Nancy grew up in Dallas where she attended Bishop Lynch High School. While at Bishop Lynch she was on the drill team and played soccer. Upon graduation she attended Texas State University (known then as Southwest Texas!). While there, Nancy was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and played soccer for the Bobcats. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health. Her first teaching job upon graduation was in 1988 at Gonzalez Jr. High. She was at Gonzalez for a year and a half when she was hired by McCallum in January of 1990. When first hired, Nancy was the Blue Brigade director, she taught physical education classes, and she coached the JV and Varsity soccer teams as well as the freshmen volleyball team. Currently, she is teaching health and is the Varsity soccer coach along with being the Blue Brigade director. Nancy's late husband, Pat Honeycutt was the Head Football coach and athletic director at McCallum before he passed away in January of 2009. Nancy now lives in Austin with her daughter Tanner who is a Junior at Westwood High School and plays varsity golf for the Warriors.
