Football Season 2010-11
MAC football season officially begins on Friday, August 26th, with the famous "Taco Shack Bowl' against Anderson High School! Both schools decorate their designated Taco Shack restaurant and are judged for school spirit & decorations. Be sure to come support MAC at the Lamar Blvd. Taco Shack location so we can win this year! The football game starts at 7:30 pm at House Park. Go Knights!

Each week the Blue Brigade performs a half-time routine at the McCallum varsity football games. The girls work hard practicing and perfecting their routines before Friday night. Many of the routines they learn at camp the summer before. They must try out each week in order to perform at half-time, so it is truly an honor to be on the field.
Some football season traditions are:
- Weekly Dancer of the Week award
- Future Blue Brigade girls are invited to join the girls in the stands.
- Decorating the football team locker room
- Dinner with the Cheerleaders before the game
