MAC football season officially begins on Thursday, August 25, with the famous "Taco Shack Bowl" against Anderson High School. Both schools decorate their designated Taco Shack restaurant and are judged for school spirit & decorations. The rivalry continues with a game at House Park field at 7:30 PM.
Each week the Blue Brigade performs a half-time routine at the McCallum
varsity football games. The girls work hard practicing and perfecting
their routines before Friday night. Many of the routines they learn at
camp the summer before. They must try out each week in order to perform
at half-time, so it is truly an honor to be on the field.

* Dinner with the Cheerleaders before the game *
